Our team at Nea Studio recently collaborated with Slay, a leading German mobile gaming company, to bring their iconic game characters from the popular "Pengu App" to life in an animated series pilot, Pengu & the Guardians of Light. Tasked with expanding the Pengu universe, our mission was to take the adventurous spirit of the app and translate it into an engaging visual narrative.
The challenge lay in faithfully capturing the game’s beloved characters while creating a compelling story world that connects with audiences both visually and emotionally.

The pilot unfolds in a dynamic short narrative crafted to capture the viewers' attention from start to finish.The story immerses viewers in the quest of Pengu, Zeke, and Pupu as they navigate Darkon’s dark influence. By blending action with humor and high stakes, we aimed to create a pilot that not only introduces the characters but also leaves the audience eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the Guardians of Light saga.
Postproduction added depth and vibrancy to Pengu & the Guardians of Light through compositing, coloring, and final adjustments, bringing the world and characters to life with polished, immersive visuals.
